Both the iPad mini and the iPad 3 proved to be very tough.
The iPad mini was dropped with edge down onto a hard surface twice and survived.
The iPad has been tortured on a previous show, but in this show it was put in ice for like 20-minutes, when it came out you could see water inside the screen. Then, it was put in liquid nitrogen and then dropped edge-side down. While the outside did take some damage (after all, it has dropped been dipped in liquid nitro) it still game on after the drop.
