Just joined!

Hi there, I've just joined and I am Ken living on a small yacht in Falmouth, UK. I bought a new iPad 2 yesterday and trying to find my way around it! Attempting to download a 5 Mb app from app store but getting message to use wifi or I tunes.Tried using I tunes but can't find the app( MARINE IMRAY CHARTS). help please?
