keyboard with Gumdrop drop tech case

Hi! My husband would like to make the switch from a laptop to an ipad. We are buying an ipad 2 and a gumdrop drop tech case. Becasue the case is so thick, I'm not sure what to do about the keyboard/case. Most of the keyboards I see come with a case that does not allow you to have the iPad in a different case. We need something that will store a keyboard and something that can prop the gumdrop case up as it doesn't have a stand. Any ideas? Thanks.
