Keynote Question

Hi all,

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Can anyone please tell me what this logo means in Keynote when a document won't open? I assume it means that the document is cloud hosted?

Thank you,

Hello and welcome to the forum! :) That symbol is the app icon for Keynote, i.e. when pressed, the program should simply open (see the screen capture below from my iPad after pressing the icon on a home screen). At this point, previous presentations can be selected or a new one started. Please clarify where this icon is located on your iPad, i.e. should be on one of your 'home screens' or in a folder - are you sure that the app is installed correctly? Dave

Thanks Dave,

The symbol was coming up on a student's (I work at a high school) iPad in the Keynote application.

I was hoping that the symbol meant that they were cloud hosted, as a new document didn't have the symbol, but since it's the Keynote symbol I assume that rules out that idea.

After some WiFi proxy changes, the documents started loading a preview in the Keynote app instead of the symbol and could be open.

Hi again - seems like a different issue of having the app on an iPad as described in my post - so, with the proxy changes, all is well? If not, please post back. Dave :)
