keypad on ipad 2

hi all of a sudden my keypad wont comeup. Have been using a bluetooth Logitech for a while, but even when disconnected my keypad on the screen wont come up.......any ideas?

When the keypad won't come up - is the Bluetooth icon (next to the battery meter indicator) illuminated?
