Hi everybody My name is Les and I bought myself an iPad3 in March 2012. I just love it (well, who wouldn't?). I'm gettingbetter with technology, assisted by my son. I'm a musician who uses modern stuff to entertain (Sax player using backing tracks). Just reached a certain age, so thoroughly enjoying life with golfing holidays, drunken holidays and just plain lazy ones too! Ex-Royal Navy so happy to try and keep up with modern technology. I have a burning question about iCloud once I know how to chat, so lookin' forward to hearing the latest. Kind regards Les
If this is the place to ask, I tried to download a documentary this morning, and was told "not enough memory", so I bought more iCloud space, but my dilemma is 'how do I free up space using iCloud?' Thanks for any assistance

Hi les, welcome aboard :)

Im not personally an iCloud user, so cant help, but theres 1000's here that can !

I too love using backing tracks and backing track apps (that manipulate tempo and pitch) for jamming to with my gee-tar

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

iCloud is not a storage unit as such but keeps everything in sync for us between different devices.
If you backup everything to your pc through iTunes you can then delete certain apps etc from your iPad to clear up space.

I've moved your thread to our Help Section where you will receive a better response.
