Line 6 Mobile In

I just purchased the new Line 6 Mobile In for my iPad 1. Up to now, I cannot get the answer to the following
question:

Can I connect the stereo headphone output from my IPad to my Line 6 guitar mono amplifier direct? Will I have a
Problem with impedance matching? Will i have a problem getting a clean sound coming out of the amp?

I will be receiving the Mobile In adapter next week and will experiment. I'll post my results.

You shouldn't have any problem, we used to connect iPods, iPhones, etc to an amp albeit through a mixing desk, it should work fine.

That was one suggestion. Not a problem at a gig. Feed the stereo output to the mixer, mono feed to the amp and out thru the PA. I was surprised that the company (very reputable) I am buying this gadget from had not tested the direct to amp option. That would of been first on my curiosity list. It would be nice not to have to haul my 20lb. digiteck Pedal around. Put the iPad on a stand, choose 5-6 primo sounds, and off you go. I'm sure Line 6 doesn't want to promote this since it would hurt their pedal sales :) don't blame them.

It mostly had to do with the high impedance input on the amp vs. the output impedance from the
iPad

Received the Line 6 Mobile In today. Works beautiful, very clean sounds. Hooked it up to my Line 6 150 amp and it worked perfectly. Very happy with it. Seems like a lot for a plastic box, but include the Line 6 sounds and it's a great package for the price. Enjoy.
