Our family has recently obtained the Ipad3. My son has baught a 3vcard to buy games in the appstore. Problem is the ipad is on my name and the card is on his. After he purchased his games I cant seem to be able to update any of my apps due to a problem with recent paying history, if somebody could give me a hand in this matter it would be apreciated. Thank you!

Go to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store. You will see a button with the current Apple ID (or sign in). Tap this button to log out of your son's account. Use it again to log in with yours.
You should now be able to update your apps. However, you will need to log back in with his Apple ID to update the apps he purchased.
Next time ask him to Gift The App instead. He does this from his account, and pays from his account. You will get a link via email which you can tap. It will take you to the App Store and download the app into your account, making future updates much easier.
