Live mail

New to this site.
Looking to get help with my MAC products.
First iPad- In my searches I noted many users having difficulties with Msn/Live mail
I am also having these issues. My problems started when they removed the Msn and went to live mail.
I can receive mail but unable to send-honest if I had not had this account for so long I would get rid of it.
In the men time I refused to be defeated! HELP please!
