Loading movies

Tried to move some movies from my iTunes library to my iPad, I went to drag and drop but when I went to drop it came up with a little window saying "link"??
Now I thought I was successful and it mentioned my storage was full? When I disconnect and check, they are not there?? I have tried to sync, but I'm not having any success??

Pleeeeaaaasssssee help, lol
