Loan to friend

Hey All,

I'd like to loan my iPad to a friend for a day. The plan is to see if his wife woul prefer an iPad over a new computer (yes, I have my opinion on that).

I was hoping to backup my ipad to iTunes and wipe it so they can get an 'out of box experience' to simulate a new one. I don't really have anything on here I can't live without but I'd like to know if this is doable in a sane sense:

- backup iPad
- wipe all
- loan to friend
- wipe all
- restore from iTunes

?? Possible?

yes

Backup in itunes.
under settings go to reset
reset all settings and content.

its like its out of the box and screen says please connect to itunes.

once you get it back do the wipe again in the reset setings and then synce it with itunes on your computer. It will ask if you want to set it up as your old iPad, just say yes and everything will be synced back onto it.
