Locked Up

My iPad mini is locked up. If I hold down the shut down button nothing happens. Also, my desktop won't recognize it when connected with USB.

Hello - please tell us which Mini model you own and what iOS is installed. If not already done, try to 'Reset' the iPad (directions in THIS THREAD - see post #5); if not effective, then DFU mode can be tried, also discussed in the same link along w/ some others. Let us know - good luck! Dave

Thanks. I didn't know about the Home/On-Off reboot. That fixed it. Thanks again.
