LogMeIn app....need help with mouse

I just received my ipad2 and love it...however I am having issues with the LogMeIn app.

I downloaded the LogMeIn Igntion app onto my ipad2. Then I downloaded LogMeIn to my laptop, which runs windows.

I am able to move the mouse around on the ipad2 screen, viewing the screen from the laptop. But I cannot double click to open any of the folders, files, etc.

When I downloaded the software onto the laptop, should I have chosen the Ignition for Windows download? The instructions in itunes said just to download the free LogMeIn software onto the other computer, which I did...but it's clearly not working.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong...any help is greatly appreciated.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I have moved your post to the Forum Help section, because I think you'll get a better response there.

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Hi kim,

At the very bottom of logmein should be a bar with the keyboard symbol, next to this is a mouse symbol. If you click this you change from left click to right click, press this and see if this helps.

Also try logging in to your pc from another pc (if you can) using logmein online, to see if it says "your input has been blocked" if this is the case there is a problem with your keyboard or mouse (I had this problem, my arrow key was stuck on mine and it wouldn't allow any input) then go to logmein settings on the iPad and choose block or disable keyboard this will solve the problem.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the reply. I did try toggling between the right and left mouse on the little icon at the bottom and that didn't help.
I will try logging in on another PC and see what happens.
Thanks again for the feedback!

I added another PC to my login account and when I access that one via my iPad, the mouse and keyboard work fine. So there must be an issue with the settings on my work laptop. I adjusted the firewall settings (I think it was all done properly) but still not able to use the keyboard or double click the mouse to open folders.
Any other suggestions?
Kim
