Looking for spreadsheet app with search function

I work at a nursery and we have a price list with probably about 500 items listed along with their price. I was looking for an app that I could list all of my inventory along with the price. And the main function would be the ability to search so I can find items faster. Doesn't have to be in spreadsheet form but already have the existing price sheet saved in Microsoft Excel, but it can just be a document, as long as I can search. Thanks for any suggestions

You could print the list as PDF and open it in the Adobe Reader- App (free)...

Well, you will likely receive a variety of suggestions, but just to mention Numbers (check HERE), part of Apple's iWork suite for the iPad and the Excel equivalent (of course, not as powerful or feature laden) - will easily import an Excel file and provide the feature you need - good luck in your choice(s). Not free, though - just $10.
