lost ebooks

---- About 6 months ago I bought an ipad for the main purpose of reading ebooks. I bought a few from istore and otherwise 'downloaded' a number of free ones. Last week I went back to the ipad with the idea of reading one of the books. They all seemed to be gone.

I'm sure they are somewhere but can't find them. Any and all help will be appreciated.

I am obviously not very familiar with the ipad.

Press the store button in the iBooks app and look for purchases or purchased books and it will be there.
