Mail freeze

Has anyone else had problems with their mail on iPad2? It typically won't send messages straight away, keeps then in the outbox then randomly sends later. And now it's frozen on an email which I can't send or cancel and can't get back into my inbox. Help!

Have u double clicked the home button to see what other apps are running? It happens to me sometimes. I've kinda topped at how many apps I have up.

Thanks. Not sure what the problem is, but I solved the 'freeze' in the end by going to settings and turned off the account, then put it back on.
