Making a portfolio app

I'm interested in making an iPad app for my photography portfolio.
Is this possible, and if so how would I go about it?

Mikeos surely u go for it. but u have to chek compatablity with the versions of ipad. as u can make gallery for the photos. as well chek memory size for photos for loading on ipad devices
