managing multiple ipads for presentation

Say I have a classroom of 20 students with ipads. I present a math problem of '1 + 1 = ?'. Is there software to manage those ipads and select specific students to show there answer and project their ipad on the screen? AppleTV is too much of a hassle. We need to be able to switch quickly between students and want the teacher to control who's screen is shown.
