McAfee Introduces Online Family Protection for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch

Anyone who is concerned about online safety when family members are using the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch will be interested in McAfee’s announcement today of the launch of its "Family Protection" app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

The app offers website and search filtering, and will automatically block age-inappropriate sites, such as known pornography sites. It also includes location tracking for Apple devices that are equipped with GPS. Parents can use the app to view usage stats, including visited websites and access times, as well as add and remove custom websites while having the option to remotely disable all web browsing.
