What will Microsoft do with Skype? Two things. First it gives them more of an internet footprint, which they sorely lack at the moment. Secondly? I think they will charge EVERYONE to use it.

Ebay couldn't make it pay, but Bill Boy and co. sure will. Microsod (sic) only have Bing, and that's far from ideal anyway.

If they ever took over Apple Tim, I will craft you a watch out of soap that will chime hourly.......Then I will cut my throat...

I use iChat on my Macs and FaceTime on the iPhone and iPad 2, so losing Skype is not a loss to me.

Same here, it's still on my laptop, but as more and more contacts get the Ipad 2 Facetime is really coming into play. MUST remember to shave more often though....

Considering all the Windows Live products (Live writer, live messenger, windows security essentials, movie maker, etc.) are free, I somehow doubt that MS has intentions of making Skype a paid video chat program.
