Mini Ipad to tv display (Mirroring)

Hey there,

I want to display my ipad on tv wirelessly, But don't need all the other apps and games that Apple tv offers- The Mirroring feature satisfies me only by itself.

What are my best options?

Get an Android. Seriously. I do not have an Apple TV and I cannot mirror to my Sony TV from my iPad. Not that I've been able to figure out. OTOH, my Android casts to my TV just fine. AFAIK, the only option to cast from your ipad to a TV is to have an Apple TV.

I have read that imediashare will let you mirror to a non-Apple TV, but I haven't tried it. Natively, there's no option I'm aware of short of having an Apple TV.

I know you want WiFi, but have you tried HDMI to your iPad.
Seems to work on all TV, no set up required.
