Any ideas please - coro

Hi Coro - welcome to the forum and sorry about your problem - :) If not done after your iOS upgrade (assume to iOS 7.0.2), you may want to 'Reset' your device and see if the maneuver helps (directions below, if not familiar w/ the process) - good luck. Dave

Reset - press & hold the 'Power' and 'Home' buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears - this may take a longer time, so have patience; the iPad will 're-boot' - NOTE that none of these maneuvers will alter your apps, files, or settings.

Hi - did that fixed messaging but still problem with facetime/kindle and mail says can't connect

G'day coro. This could possibly help:
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings. No data or media is deleted, but any settings that had got out of kilter are realigned.

Thanks Dave and Andrew. Still hasn't worked. mmm will have a good think.
Sorry these suggestions have not worked. Strange that your iPad is restricting more than one facility. Have you checked:
Settings>General>Restrictions and check which sliders are On or Off?

If these great suggestions don't help, then delete your email account and reinstall it. Maybe it will help.
Turn off Facetime (Settings - Facetime), reset your iPad (press and hold...) and turn it on again in Settings.
Delete Kindle (app) from your iPad and reinstall it.

Your last possibility would be to backup and restore your device through iTunes.
