In developing an interactive App for iPad I had two input screens that included a lot of text. My App was rejected because it was deemed more suitable for iBooks. It was only when I eliminated text on the screens was it acceptable as an App. By the way, the App accesses a library of texts which apparently is OK. Hope that helps.
