Missing content from emails

I recently purchased an ipad2 and am slowly learning how to use it. Prior to this, I used a laptop. My latest issue is
some of the emails I receive from a particular friend (who uses aol) are missing content. In my mailbox it says under subject "This message has no content" Yet, on my phone or laptop the email has all the data? Can someone info me as to why this is occurring?.......John

Sometimes an email will load blank, don't know why but if you scroll to the bottom of the email you may be able to download it there.

Hi everyone,
in order to get rid of the no content emails [which I found were created when I delete certain emails] is to click on sent folder and then click back into in box and you will see that all no content emails disappear .
