I'm sure this is a rookie question but is there an easy way to move apps between pages? I have a handful of apps on the first page and it seems like everything I've downloaded is on the second page. There,s tons of room on both pages but I can't get the apps to move.

Hold the icon(s) until they start to wiggle and you see an X in the LH corner. Then, you can press on the icon, hold the press and then move it around.
If you hold the wiggling icon against either side of the page it's on, the page will turn and your icon will come with.

You came to the best forum to ask it!
You press the app down until it wiggles. Keep holding it down and move it to the right or left or up or down. When it is in place, press the home button.
This is also the same method of moving apps to a new page. You said you only had two pages? Press and hold an app till it wiggles, pull it to the right side of the iPad until the screen goes to the right, release it and press the home button to keep it in place.
If you want to delete an app, press it till it wiggles and then press the x on the upper left corner. If you delete an app on your iPad you will have to remove it in iTunes as well or it may come back.
BTW, did you down load the manual in iBooks? You'll find a lot of useful information in the manual. But if not, come back and ask.
