Movie codes in itunes

I purchased a movie from Kmart and inside this sleeve it says i can download the title to my smartphone or tablet.so I went to the website to follow the instructions. When you foot moviereedem.com all it does is open iTunes. There Is a code in the slip but no where does it tell me where I input the code.. Anyone ever do this?

Normally the link should take you to the movie's page in iTunes and walk you through downloading it.

If not, try copying the code, scrolling to the bottom of the iTunes Store page and tapping the Redeem button. Paste the code in the field provided.

Are you doing this on your computer or on your iPad3.

I understand you want the movie on your iPad, but did you try the movieredeem site on your computer or on your iPad?

If you do it on your computer, it should work fine. From there, transfer the movie over to your iPad.

I actually went into iTunes, clicked the redem button and tried typing the code in there and it started downloading nifty because I actually fell asleep when we watched it because I was in the middle of a 72 hour work week.
