Moving apps

We just upgraded from a 3rd gen iPod touch to the mini! When we went to put the apps on the mini we have to start over on some of the games like my little pony. Is there a way to not have to start over on the mini? Or is it just saved to the iPod?

Some games which have Facebook attached can be synced by logging onto FB through the game, this will then sync them to different devices.

If you restored the iPad Mini from a backup of the older device, and the games lost their place, then you are probably out of luck. It is up to the developer to include that data in the backup, or provide syncing via some other method such as FaceBook, iCloud, or whatever. Unfortunately Gamecenter does not seem to have this ability, or developers are not taking advantage of it. Whichever.
