moving icons

i can't slide icons to another screen.  I know to giggle them then slide to the edge but they won't move to the next screen.  what am i doing wrong????  Thanks.  Bud

What I have found is that you have to hold them, while wiggling, against the side of the page for longer than you think - and don't let go until the page actually turns. It does take a bit of practice...

Other people have found that sometimes it's easier to put the wiggling icon on the dock and then swipe to the page you what. Then, you can move the icon up to the page itself. It seems to relieve a lot of the frustration in moving icons around pages (and I can attest to that myself, especially when moving more that one).

So, try that? Good luck.
