mpeg4 not synching

I have mpeg4 video that is formatted 640x480, the same as other videos that have synched to my iPad, but on my last sync, it says it could not import because its format is not supported.

It loads to dropbox and plays, but space is the issue there.

Can anyone please tell me why this is happening and how to correct?

There are different formats of mp4. Some, only the iPod touch likes, and some only iPad likes. Use a program like handbrake (windows) to convert it.

Handbrake is great because it has presets to automatically format it correctly for each device.
