Japanese store Muji has released a trio of actually rather useful apps, two of which are free. Kicking off with the two freebies first, Muji to Go is a really handy travel app that features a World Clock displaying the time in cities around the world, weather for various locations around the world, a very handy Power Supply feature that displays the shapes of power sockets used in different countries so you know what sort of adaptor to take, Forex currency converter and a calculator. You can download it here.
The second free Muji app is Muji Calendar, which is a scheduler, where you can sync your Google Calendar, or use it as a standalone scheduler, using either a 12-hour or 24-hour time scale. The app also enables you to see a whole day’s appointments on a single screen without scrolling. By tapping the track on the bottom of the screen you can instantly access the Muji to Go app. Download it here.
The third Muji app, which is the paid one, is Muji Notebook, which features handwriting recognition and predictive text input, enabling you to take notes and sketch. You can import photos and PDFs from iPad and iTunes, adjust them and lay them out, and choose from four different page types: ruled, gridded, quadrant and plain.
You can download the Muji Notebook app here for $3.99/£2.39.
