Multi colored lines on the right side when powering on.

Been looking over the forums and have not heard this mentioned.

Never seen that and don't like the sound of it. Do full screen videos and photos show any colour anomalies?
If so I would visit an Apple store and get it exchanged. Backup first though.

I have the same thing...very small multi-colored lines about an inch long and only in the little apple screen

I have this also on the power up screen. Assumed this was to do with it being jail broken?

I have the same problem too , i think it has to do with jailbreak.

It only shows when booting up.

This is due to the JailbreakMe.com jailbreak.

Its using the framebuffer to store code during bootup, so thats why it looks like that.

Yes when you jailbreak there are a few off colored pixels that appear on the right side of the screen during power up due to the coding. It would be nice if there was a fix for it but for now you need to deal with it if you want to JB

This also happens with the jb iPhone , would be nice to see a fix but I personally think its worth it for cydia

It is either you see those lines, or you would have to rejailbreak your ipad every time you reboot (tethered jailbreak).

dont wine that there are lines when you boot it up. If you dont like it then dont jailbreak.
