Multi Tasking

Hi everyone. Thanks for having me at this forum.
I have an ipad Pro.
I will be plugging a midi wind contoller into the ipad using Thor (a tone generator synth).
At the same time, I would like to play a backing track (different program than Thor) to play along with.
Can someone please tell me how to pull this off, or whether it just can't be done?

Depends on the apps you are using. Check out the Audiobus app as a starting point. It allows you to use several music/sound apps together; providing they have they are compatible.

That’s about all I know. I’ve never used Audiobus or other inter-audio cable apps.
