Why do some of the all day birthday events appear multiple times, sometimes 17-18 duplicate entries? I've gone in and deleted the duplicates on more than one occasion and they come back. I don't have this problem with iCal on my iMac. Has anyone experienced this problem and/or have any suggestions on how to resolve?

you probably have them in your account or on the ipad and then also have itunes set to sync computers calender over making duplicate copies.
