Music downloads inTurkey? Help please

Hi. Im a new, new iPad owner and,after buying my iPad, discovered I cant download music from Turkey where I live. Apparently iTunes is blocked as Apple havent sorted out legalities here yet. I also have a Kindle and can download ebooks from Amazon without trouble, but my iPad wont allow me to download music from Amazon either.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions as I was really loking forward to playing music through my iPad.
