Hey all, ive had an ipad since december last year. And well, when i try connect it to my wifi sometimes it just completely kills the wifi, by wich i mean it pretty basicly causes internet connections for anyone on the wifi, infact we lose the internet all together through it.

Ive tryed the "forget network" trick, but nope still does it.

If anyone can help me with this id much apriciate it.

Have you checked your modem and router to see if it needs any updating in it's software? Also, sometimes--its good to try to power off your Modem and router and let it sit for a few minutes and turn it back on to see if that helps.

Sometimes the router or modem may be outdated and require a replacement based on other members similar reports on this topic.

Try to see if that helps and let us know.

The modem is near new, its a superhub from virgin installed late 2012 as our one stopped working, the router is near new also was bought early 2012, i have had them both switched off as the internet has been a bit buggy. But even still nothing seems to work.

Can you check to see if you can change your channels to another one? I know we had to do this a few times when we were setting up and tweaking our router because of signal issues dropping when we would be on the 3rd floor of our home.

I just had this happen on my iPad and iPod yesterday out of the blue after working perfectly since new. The info provided in archangel's post worked instantly.

Great to hear that it solved your problem. It's always good to find out if a solution actually works.
