As a photographer I've long wished for a hard drive for my iPad into which I could download my memory cards. Then caught on to the "Go to My PC" App. With the app.
In my iPad and my desktop back home i now:
1. Download image files (RAW) from SD card to iPad and do my usual ruthless initial editing.
2. Upload the remaining images to Dropbox.
3. Connect with my desktop PC on my desk at home and ( via my iPad display) open the appropriate image file in my PC's hard disc
4. Download image files from Dropbox to my PC and back-up to another attached hard disc....then go through he back-out process and get on with photography. Dave Graham
