Need help in downloading Microsoft silverlight on the new iPad

I'm not aware of an app for Silverlight. I don't even know what it is supposed to do on a Windows OS!

Basically you cannot put windows programs or apps on an iPad. You need to get apps from the Apple App Store (assuming you are not jail broken).

Silverlight is a Microsoft flavored browser pluggin similar in function to Flash. Like Flash and Java, it is not supported on the iPad.
