Need to stop syncing two ipads to same itunes account

I sync my iPad and my wife's iPad to the same iTunes account. She wants her own account so her iPad isn't cluttered with my business programs and contacts. If I create a new iTunes account for her will she lose all her pictures and contacts when she syncs to it? iPad 1 updated to IOS 5.

You could just change the sync options on both accounts and create a group for her contacts that way all works fine. I sync 3 iPhones plus iPads and each is different. Hope that helps.
