Need to transfer music from iPod to iPad

Hi I want to transfer music from my iPod to iPad. Can you pls guide me. Also I would like to download music from iTunes. Are there some songs that are free on iTunes. Pls advice. Lastly I want to have all my data on cloud. Pls guide how I can do that. Thanks.
