Network Solutions Email not working

Finally ditched my Verizon email account and signed up with NetworkSolutions for email. Setting it up on my computer worked great. I can't seem to get it to work on the iPad, just says that email server is not responding. I have checked everything several times. Any suggestions? I can't imagine that this wouldn't work!
 
Well, fixed it. Eliminated the email account completely on the ipad. Then logged into email in network solutions and then reinterred the info on the iPad and a different menu came up although I can,t remember what it was now, but it then worked fine. I believe it did say however that 'this source isn,t trusted', but it's network solutions so I figure it,s safe.
 
Thank you - took it one step further and turned my iPad completely off and on before applying your fix - worked perfectly! Btw, incoming mail port should be 110 and smtp port for Verizon is 587 (I believe AT&T is 2927).
