neu.Annotate+ Question

I just downloaded this app and was adding some notes to a .pdf file, when I was finished I tapped the button in the top right corner and told it to send the .pdf to Dropbox. When I opened Dropbox the file was there, but none of my changes were. Was I supposed to do something different to get the changes to appear? Or does it simply not transfer them over? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
