Hi, i'm new to this site and I would like to know where besides ebay is a cheap place to buy new or secondhand iPad 2? I'm not in the US but I might have someone who can buy it there for me.

Personally, I wouldn't touch eBay with a 10 foot pole for high value items; too much chance of getting burned.

However, if you go ahead make sure your payment is protected. I know Visa is OK, not sure about PayPal, and stick to trusted vendors.

Alternatives are refurbished units from Apple, if you want to save some money and do it safely.
