Hi, I'm am a 77 year old first time iPad user. My background is in mainframe computers so this is quite dramatic change in environment. I am well acquainted with tech support so I will probably browse the forums if or when I have questions. Thanks to all the veteran IPad users for their imput.

There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have.
