New Here need some real suggestions

Own a 2013 Mustang GT and want to mount a Ipad mini . Like it to my cell phone, use it for maps,navagation and other apps. maybe some pictures as well. Looking to buy a used one not exactally sure of the correct size case that fits my car yet. But, what should I look for? I want a used on nothing fancy but what specifications will I need to search for? Suggestions most helpful, Thanks People
