new ipad question

When you first get your ipad.....do you have to charge it for twenty-four hours....12 hours or less to get it operational?

Mine booted up to sync right out of the box as most Apple products seem to do.

I was using it 10 minutes from unboxing.

I don't think I did. It came with some juice, I'm sure. Since I could not find the user manual, LOL!, I called the guy I bought it from at the Apple store and hooked up to iTunes to create my account.

I called that poor guy at least 10 times in two days! Very helpful and patient!

Then I found this place.

Inside 20 minutes, I was up and running and downloaded 8 apps. It is impressive to see that so many people most older ..are taking Ipad lessons at our local apple store.

I know! I was impressed to see that ours offered many classes. I am sure they still do!
