New iPad user.

Well, after much convincing from some very good friends, I decided to get an iPad. Hoping to learn alot from this forum.

David

P.S. Not a good start. Tried to post this in the app and it would not let me type in the message space, only in the title.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Welcome to the forum.

You need to login on the iPF app before you can post. If I remember right the login button is in the bottom left corner under the Forums section. It goes away once you are logged in. To log out, if you even need to, you go to the Profile section. Yeah, weird.

Since you don't use the iPF app, that's perfectly understandable. :)

Actually it's pretty easy to forget even if you do. It stays logged in unless you deliberately log out. If someone else hadn't had problems with my instructions I would have never noticed when they moved the buttons to there current, somewhat confusing, locations.

I did log in. It would not let me type in the message box. No worries. It is working fine now.

I am using the iPF app and really digging it.

Will download the manual when I get back home from Panama City to my desktop. Thanks for the info.

Just a note, so far I am loving the iPad.
