New member-App suggestion needed

Hi everyone!

I am C.M.Burns (big Simpsons fan...) and am new to the iPad world. iPad 2 that is. Have had it for a few months but just recently been using it for work and it has been AWESOME.

I am a middle school music teacher in an iPad integrated school. This means all 6-8 grade students are required to have an iPad whether they purchase or the school helps. Pretty awesome!

Anyway, it's been going great but I had an idea to have the students record themselves playing for their practice logs instead of having paper logs in their folders and them send me the audio clips. Problem is, I have not found (I am terrible at searching) an app that meets what I want:

1. Free
2. Exportable/Emailable sound clips

If anyone knows of a good one, reply away!!

Hi Cmburner-what a great intro post you have and also wonderful idea to use the iPad to log their practice sessions. I don't have a suggestion for you, however, as other see this-they may be able to assist.
