Hello everyone. I'm a relative newbie to the iPad2. I purchased mine on Black Friday 2011, after a long time thinking about adding an iPad to my "technology collection." I'm an old time Mac/Apple user, currently on my 5th computer. I currently use an iMac 24" Intel, circa 2007, and hubby uses the 17" MacBook Pro circa 2010. I also have two iPod Shuffles from a few years ago.
Until I bought my iPad we used the MBP when we traveled. I've taken the iPad on one trip, and it seemed to do the trick, so maybe I won't have to pack my weighty laptop on future trips.
I'm not a big techno geek...just enjoy surfing the web, staying in touch with friends and searching for interesting info and things online. I love iTunes and iPhoto - those are my two most used applications. I'm an avid amateur photographer and have fun playing with my pictures with various photo apps.
I'm hoping to learn a lot more about my new iPad2 from the forums and from more experienced folks.
I'm retired, live in southeastern Arizona with my husband of almost 35 years. We are classic car enthusiasts and like to travel.
