Hello to all!

Just recently owned iPad 3 and I'm desperately needing adobe flash player for my adobe digital editions.

Any help please?

Thank you in advance

Ms Nancy

Wait!

I may have misunderstood your question. Yes, it's true, the iPad can't run Flash (and so the link I gave above is still valid), but maybe that's not what you need. You talk about Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). Do you mean that you want to read books on your iPad? Books that can only be read with apps that can decoded ADE books (like library books)?

I've re-opened this thread because if you want help in determining what app to use to read some e-books - then we CAN help. There are several apps that can read e-books that are locked to ADE. Overdrive is one of the main ones (for library books, though).

If you'll just clarify that is what you mean...? As in, are you wanting to read ADE books and, if so, from where did you get them? Thanks.

My apologies for the confusion (and my thanks to twerppoet for pointing this out). The Flash reference threw me off... :)

Hello Marilyn,

Thank you for your time responding on my query. And sorry for this late reply.

You are right on your second message to me. I am wanting to read ebooks that I have downloaded on ADE by which locked and can only be read using my laptop. I also have two ebooks of which I have been trying to link or open in my iPad desperately but with no success.

I will try to open the link you sent me and see if it will work out.

The two ebooks I'm dying to open in my iPad came from BPP, they are study materials.

No need to apologise. I'm grateful for your help. Meant a lot to me.

Thank you again, looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Cheers!

Take a look at the free app Bluefire. It will allow you to read ADE e-books. All you'll need is an ADE password (so you can authorize the app with Adobe when you first start it) and it should open the book.

There are others, I think, though none come to mind off the top of my head. But - since it's free, give Bluefire a try. Good luck.
