New Member Introduction

I am a new member... forced to join because of a few quirks that appear in my iPad 2 (iOS 5.0.1) and my need to work around them.

Latest problem is with my Notes application. I have many "notes" already taken in this application. Just a few minutes ago I tried to open the application again and it opened briefly to a blank page and then closed immediately. I have tried closing the application completely and restarting it and I have tried shutting the iPad completely down and restarting the idpad and then restarting the application. Neither cleared up the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Normally closing the app and relaunching it would clear this and you've done a restart I see. Doing a reset of your iPad is the next step to clear this problem. Reset: Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. This is a reset. Let us know how you go.
